Renters Can’t Move

Have you looked around lately at the rental prices in the Dallas-Ft. Worth area? In the last year rents have gone up 3.6 percent over last year at this same time. When rental prices increase – a demand takes place for home purchases. However, first time home buyers are not moving from renting to owning. Rental prices are increasing – making it harder for renters to save for the down payment. On top of that – home prices continue to rise in price due to inventory not meeting the demand. We may all need to ride out this rental dilemma till the builder’s catch up with the demand, wages increase or we have a turn over in the rental market. If you are ready to rent or purchase – give me a call for assistance. Donna Lee (Burton) www.thepadhunter.com
